I learned a lot about the Toledo, Ohio Autolite strike from the book "I Remember Like Today: The Auto-Lite Strike of 1934." Seems impossible to me to think of the NLRA passing in 1935, or the Supreme Court not invalidating it, without the three city-wide general strikes of 1934. (SF, Toledo, Minneapolis).
